I’m getting back into consistently working out, shadowboxing, and eating. Classes started back up last month. I’m happy this automatic /now updater worked!
Reading
Haven’t really read much of anything. Too much mental bandwidth occupied to even concentrate or process reading anything. I do want to try to do more of nothing. Doing less is doing more.

idk meditative breathwork is pretty cool. im sure ive made plenty of recent discoveries but nothing coming to mind atm. or at least nothing i want to detail.
Looking forward to
the fall/winter. i want it to be cold. my body runs hot so its been a very uncomfortable year.
One open question
the future of ai? now im old enough to have predictive potential given existing for long enough. i think its an incredibly useful tool that democratizes capability. sure, people are/will lose their jobs over it, but people will adapt—or society will adapt? im sure there will be a technological plateau or societal upper limit. e.g. television technology will reach a point where FPS doesnt matter because it exceeds human visual processing to even make a perceptual difference. so similarly, perhaps jobs will become obsolete/delegated to ai. i think that is exciting. im too cynical to think this true, but perhaps we reach a point where humans no longer have to “work.” they can just “exist.” enjoy wholeheartedly and entirely an existence while it lasts. but alas, fickle human dispositions will muddle this utopian vision. humans just “need” to be/feel better than onr another so rather than putting up their fellow men, they will put them down and this utopia will never actualize. but i digress. the point of this rambiling was that i wonder if ai will inch us closer to a world where instead of being a human doing to live, we can be a human being and live!

Adam Clay is a beekeeper, but someone very important to him is scammed and driven to harm. However, what these power and money hungry scammers don't know, is that Clay is an agent in a classified program called Beekeepers, and they underestimate how much of a threat he is. Adam sets out on a quest of vengeance, where he hunts and kills those responsible for the incident.

i liked the movie. good prevailed. all i could think about was the [katalepsara](www.katalepsara.com/book) book: what injures the bee, injures the hive. we as a cosmopolis are interconnected and interdependent. i really liked the movie. good pacing. good story. good action. some parts were realistic, but i guess that kind if unrealistic action is okay. like a child could enjoy this movie, but it is quite graphic. anyways, great movie. good prevails. and adam clay is a man who upholds principles.

I first discovered this song in late 2022. I really like it a lot. Something about it is nostalgically sentimental. Like a deja vu song that would've been heard during my childhood. It's a shame this group is no longer together putting out music.
